  • Embark City: Dubrovnik Disembark City: Athens

Day 1

Passengers are welcome to board at 6:00 p.m. After comfortably settling into your cabins, we’ll introduce our crew at a welcome cocktail.

Tonight, we’ll enjoy dinner and an evening of activities on board.

 Day 2

We’ll spend the morning on a guided tour of Tirana, the capital and largest city in Albania and the heart of the country's cultural, economic, and governmental activity. We’ll see Skanderbeg Square, the city center surrounded by important government buildings, as well as the historic Et'hem Bey Mosque (the mosque is closed during prayers - please wear appropriate clothing: your legs and shoulders must be covered; women need scarves for their hair).

We’ll spend the afternoon cruising.

 Day 3

Full-day Excursion: The Meteora (approximately 5 hours of round-trip travel – lunch is included).

Discover one of the most spectacular sites in Greece. Although the original town of Kalambaka was destroyed during World War II, the Meteora monasteries remained intact on the summit of the rocks. The caves in the rocks were inhabited by hermit monks in the 9th century AD. They began to build monasteries in the 11th century, and at its peak in the 16th century, there were 24. Today, there are now six functioning monasteries still inhabited by either nuns or monks.

Our ship will cruise to Itea overnight.

 Day 4

We’ll spend the morning cruising.

The afternoon will be dedicated to an excursion on a tour of Delphi, a sacred site said to have been founded by Zeus. In ancient Greece, thousands upon thousands of pilgrims flocked here to hear the Oracle give her predictions. While taking in the ruins of the ancient site overlooking the superb red sandstone landscape, you’ll understand why Delphi was once thought to be the center of the world.

Tonight is our festive gala evening.

 Day 5

Corinth Canal - ATHENS

We’ll spend the morning cruising and pass through the famous Corinth Canal—one of the highlights of
our cruise. After a failed effort to build the canal in the 1st century AD, the modern canal was completed in 1893. It is 4 miles long (6.4 km) and only 70 feet wide (21.4 m).

In the afternoon, join us for a visit to Athens and the Acropolis. We’ll explore the Acropolis, an ancient
religious center in Athens, which includes the Temple of Athena Nike and the iconic Parthenon. After our visit, enjoy a coach tour of the capital of Greece.

Tonight, we’ll enjoy a traditional Greek-style evening on board.

 Day 6

Enjoy breakfast on board this morning before disembarking at 9:00 a.m. End of our services.

Cruise Includes all meals on board, open bar on board, daily shore excursions (pick Classic or Discovery Package), and all port charges and taxes.
